Dear Family, Friends, and Fans,

With the advent of digital downloads, musician’s today often find themselves in a quandary of whether or not to sell their music or give it away. The answer is not so clear: On one hand you have the idea that giving your music away enables you to reach more ears and thus become better known, but on the other hand, giving music away that took lots of time and money to produce, devalues, to a certain extent, your work.

We’ve thought about this question a lot over the course of our new album’s production. While most artists, settle with one strategy or the other, we’ve finally decided on a middle ground between these two ideas and come up with our Six Degrees of Separation Campaign.

Here’s how it works:

We have made our new record, titled, “To Another Place” available for listening (streaming) in it’s entirety on our website, facebook, and myspace. Here’s how it works:

1.Listen to the record and pick your favorite song. ( You may listen to tracks here http://www.facebook.com/ippazzi and here http://www.myspace.com/ippazzi)

2.Email us at info@ippazzi.com with the name of your favorite song.

3.We send you an MP3 version of that song back for FREE. In exchange for the free song, we ask that you simply send it to 6 of your friends.

And that’s it!

Our entire record will still be available for purchase on our website and on itunes in the coming days, and in the process we will still be making our music accessible to a wider audience by giving you your favorite song. Additionally, you will become a part of our team in helping us reach a wider audience in the process of making our music known.
